Tech specs

The SMD-2000.1D puts out 800 watts RMS at 4 ohms, 1400 watts RMS at 2 ohms, and 2000 watts RMS at 1 ohm. Bass-blasters and pros can link two SMD-2000.1Ds together to achieve a 4000-watt output. Employing premium Korean-made electronic components and high-grade pure oxygen-free copper internal wiring, the amp uses Class D amplifier technology for a maximum-efficiency power output.

Tuning controls

Adjustable crossover filters let you tune the amp for a wide range of subwoofers. A bass-boost, phase switch, and the included wired remote all help you control the bass. Speaking of remotes: the included wireless remote control for the RGB LED accent lighting lets you change the colors, patterns, and sequences they display.

Installation Note: This amplifier's power consumption is beyond the capacity of most automotive electrical systems. To power this amp, your vehicle may require an electrical upgrade that could include a high-output alternator, a Big 3 battery wiring upgrade, and a second battery.
