Ever wonder if you're making the most of your clubs? The Approach CT1 golf club tags from Garmin provide a simple, elegant solution to measuring performance on a club-by-club basis. Each lightweight tag screws into the top of your club's handle. Pair your compatible Garmin GPS golf watch with the tags by tapping your club's handle to your watch before each swing and it'll show you the average distance you hit for each club right on the watch's face. With each swing, you'll develop a deeper understanding of how to use your clubs in different situations. This package includes 16 tags to cover every club in your bag, plus an installation tool.

Pair with your compatible Garmin watch and start tracking

Once you've installed the Approach CT1 tags on your clubs, pair your club of choice with your compatible Garmin golf watch before you take each shot by tapping the tag to your watch and confirming the pairing on the watch's face (the watch will also vibrate). The tags will automatically record the distance, shot, locations, and club types to the watch as you progress through the round. If you forget to pair, the watch will prompt you to enter the type of club used on the previous shot. Some putts may not get detected, so be sure to pair your putter before every swing.

For an even more thorough statistical analysis, the Garmin Golf smartphone app keeps track of your performance over time, so you can pull up past games on your phone and see where you need more work and where you're improving. It covers accuracy to the fairway or green, plus drives, approach shots, chip shots and putting, and allows you to set baselines to see how you're faring relative to other players in your group.

Compact, battery-free design

To install, simply screw the Approach CT1 tag into the pinhole at the top of the grip using the installation tool. Each tag measures 0.2" tall and weighs just 0.07 ounces. Garmin's battery-free design means you'll never have to worry about the tags failing while you're in the middle of a round. The tags are waterproof so you can play without fear in inclement conditions (or if you're the type who throws their clubs into the nearest water hazard when frustrated). Extreme temperatures are also no problem for these tags.
