Garmin's LiveScope Plus scanning sonar system is a huge favorite among our marine enthusiast customers, with one commenting that it "allowed us to see the structure and cover, see our lures, and watch fish bite." Garmin developed the LiveSope Plus system primarily for boat owners, but they realized that ice fishers could also benefit from its awesome powers to locate and identify fish. Garmin LiveScope Plus Ice Fishing Kit includes a LiveScope Plus system, along with a Panoptix ice fishing mount for placing the transducer in a strategic location when you're out on the ice. It also boasts a rechargeable lead-acid battery for power when not connected to your boat's electrical system, and a convenient carrying case. You'll spend more time fishing and less time digging holes in the ice with this powerful tool by your side. It works pretty well on your boat, too!

Note: You'll need a compatible Garmin GPSMAP or ECHOMAP chartplotter to see any images generated by the LiveScope system.

Excellent target separation and images

LiveScope Plus is live, real-time scanning sonar. You can actually see easy-to-interpret images of fish swimming near clearly defined structures, with minimal noise and on-screen artifacts. And it works well whether you're on a boat or the ice, with images so clear and precise that you may be able to identify different species of fish!

Three kinds of sonar

This transducer features LiveScope Forward sonar, which shows the structure and fish ahead and around your location, and LiveScope Down sonar, which shows you what's below and around you. LiveScope Forward is especially handy, as it can locate schools of fish and make picking a spot to drill much easier. LiveScope Down's benefit lies in homing in on targets, so you can watch fish respond to your jig after you've dug a hole. The included Perspective Mode mount lets you employ both views, and it offers a handy overhead view of the action, which is nice for checking things out in shallow water.

Garmin hooks you up

The LiveScope Plus Ice Fishing Kit includes a compact Garmin GLS 10 sonar module and an LVS34 transducer, plus connectors to integrate everything with your compatible Garmin chartplotter. Garmin's swivel-pole mount lets you place the included LVS34 transducer in the proper position on the ice and maintain control. The rechargeable 12Ah lead-acid battery keeps your rig powered for up to 7 hours, and Garmin provides a flexible power cable and transducer adapter cable. Use the rugged portable carrying case to hold your ECHOMAP or GPSMAP 7" or 9" device, plus all the included parts.
