JL Audio's MediaMaster MM55 digital media receiver takes all of the great features and user-friendliness of their popular MediaMaster 50 radio and upgrades a few things for a superior audio experience on your boat or powersports vehicle. Three improvements worth noting include improved water resistance (IP67 rated vs. IP66), the addition of DAB+ radio reception for listening around the globe, and three more dedicated preamp outputs. It combines rugged outdoor-ready construction, smart design, and excellent audio quality to ensure your next outing has the best soundtrack possible.. And with source and connectivity options including radio, Bluetooth®, USB, and an aux input, you'll be able to access your favorite tunes wherever you roam.

Made to sound great

The MM55 features a 100-watt amp (25 watts RMS x 4 channels) and built-in high- and low-pass crossovers. The result is superb sound for boats, ATVs, UTVs, golf carts, or other weekend fun machines.

Command the audio over three zones

The MM55 also boasts nine channels of audiophile-quality 4-volt preamp outputs for pristine signal transfer to up to three separate audio zones. With these separate audio zones, the MM55 gives you great sound and the flexibility you want when you're setting up your boat's audio. You can control the zones together or individually using JL Audio's Level Control Mode. Each of the three zones has a dedicated subwoofer output, and independent feature and control options for each zone. Options include volume and sub levels, crossovers, volume limit, and tone controls. You can rename each zone and even name the MM55 itself, so you'll recognize it easily on your connected devices.

Add your favorite sources

You won't find a CD player in the MediaMaster MM55, just lots of ways to get the most out of your digital music collection. In addition to an AM/FM/DAB+ tuner, the MM55 offers a wide range of ways to connect external devices. Here are all the ways you can crank your tunes:

• Bluetooth® v2.1 audio streaming with aptX™,

• USB 2.0 direct-digital connection for your iPhone® or USB storage device,

• An aux input for connection to a wide range of audio sources,

• A NMEA 2000 direct connector makes it easy to integrate the MM55 with the rest of your NMEA 2000-compatible marine electronics (sold separately), making your receiver the hub of your system.
