A weather-resistant camera with a 360° view

The Lorex 2K Pan-Tilt Outdoor Wi-Fi Security Camera lets you keep a watchful eye over your property. You can control the camera's live view with your smartphone, swiveling the camera to the left or right and tilting up or down so you can actively search for visitors outside your home.

But there's no need to constantly check the live view — you'll get a notification to your phone anytime the camera notices motion. You can then view the live feed, record video, and communicate with whoever's on the other side. And its motion-based person detection can recognize people with customizable levels of sensitivity to reduce false alarms from things like neighborhood cats.

See better in the dark

Color night vision helps you clearly see anyone on your property in low-light conditions. And there's a motion-activated warning light built in. That light can work in conjunction with a remotely enabled siren to discourage unwanted guests from sticking around.

Simple to install and control

Getting started is surprisingly easy. You can use the included mounting kit to install the camera on a wall, ceiling, or even on a pole outside your home. (A metal strap is required for pole installation, not included). From there you just need to plug into an AC outlet and make sure that the camera is within range of your Wi-Fi router. Alternatively, the camera also has an ethernet port for an even more secure wired connection.

Once the camera has been installed, you can control it from your smartphone with the intuitive Lorex Home app. You can take snapshots and manually record video of the live feed at any time. And there's no monthly fee — all of the doorbell's data is stored locally via a MicroSD card (32GB card included).

Plays well with others

The Lorex 2K is one step towards a larger home security system. This camera works with other Fusion Collection gear from Lorex, letting you expand your security system with additional cameras, DVR systems, floodlights, and more. It's also compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa devices, so you can simply ask to see footage or a live camera view on compatible screens.
