Safeguard your gear against power spikes and surges

One look at it, and you might notice that Sanus's new SA-PS80 surge protector looks a little different than other power protection devices. This slim strip-style power protection unit uses a unique combination of fixed and rotating outlets to give you extra versatility when plugging up your gear. It even has a built-in cable management system that helps keep power cables neatly arranged.

Protection for up to eight devices

The 'PS80 can protect up to eight devices at once. It's rated for spikes and surges up to 2160 joules — ample protection for common electrical anomalies. There are onboard LED indicators that tell you whether your devices are grounded and protected. When the protection has been depleted, the LEDs will stop lighting up, letting you know you need to grab a new one. 

Unique rotating outlets 

One of the neatest features of the 'PS80 is that six of its eight outlets rotate 160º. These rotating outlets allow you to squeeze in and connect larger or more oddly shaped plugs without blocking other outlets. The remaining two AC outlets are fixed in a "side-firing" position to further reduce unsightly plug clutter.

Built-in cable management

Something you don't see often in surge protectors is a cable management system. Sanus gave the 'PS80 cable management hooks on the left and right sides to help streamline and organize your power cables. The hooks are found near the end of the surge protector and can handle multiple cables being fed through their channels at once.

Placement versatility

The SA-PS80 has a slim overall profile that helps it fit behind A/V cabinets, bookshelves, and more. There are also two keyhole slots on the back of the unit that you can use for cabinet or wall mounting if your situation calls for it. The surge protector comes with an 8-foot power cable attached, giving you plenty of length to put it where you need it.
