Hub-free smart security floodlight camera with free local storage

This smart security camera from Starfish lets you see what's going on in your outdoor space, right on your smartphone's screen. After dark, its bright floodlights will illuminate that space when its motion sensor detects movement. It gives you smart control over its lights, camera, and more with the Starfish app. And it comes with free, onboard, local storage — no external hub, and no subscription fees.

App control with 2-way video intercom

You'll add this floodlight to your home Wi-Fi network, then use the free Starfish app to control it. You can set the 270° motion sensor's sensitivity and create activity zones to prevent unwanted recording of things like ongoing hoop-shooting in your driveway.

The app lets you see what's going on in real time with its 150°-wide-angle-view camera. You can see and talk with whomever's in your camera's view. That means you don't have to abandon your post in the kitchen to tell the kids its time for dinner, or get out of bed to warn off a would-be intruder with your voice or a blast of the built-in siren. You can also manage and watch captured video clips using the app.

32GB free local storage, expandable to 128GB

The camera has a built-in microSD card slot and includes a 32GB card that can store a few months'-worth of approximately 30-second clips. You can double or quadruple that capacity by upgrading to the maximum-supported 128GB card — and if you do expand the memory, storage remains subscription-free.

Control it with your voice assistant

For hands-free control, this floodlight camera works with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa (sold separately). It also works with Apple's Siri, via Siri Shortcuts. That means you can tell the voice assistant to light up the driveway. Or ask it to show you your camera's feed, and see it right on your smartphone screen.
