Big, detailed sound from a compact bar

This latest generation of the Sonos Beam sound bar delivers spacious sound for movie night, plus all the convenient music streaming features that have made Sonos a hit year after year with Crutchfield's customers. It's paired here with a kit that lets you mount the sound bar conveniently on your wall.

Faster processing, bigger sound

This sound bar's upgraded CPU is 40% faster than the original Beam's. This increased processing power enables two additional audio arrays for enhanced clarity and depth. It has the same number of speakers as the original Beam, but they can all act independently to create 3D sound effects.

The Beam (Gen 2) uses psychoacoustics — the way our brain processes sound in three-dimensional space — to map and project effects so they sound as if they're coming from above or behind you. Its five built-in speakers steer the sound effects for a greater sense of accuracy and immersion. Track sounds as they move in three dimensions, from a helicopter hovering overhead to bullets zipping from one side of the room to the other.

Wall-mount your Beam for a clean look

This bundle comes with a nearly invisible wall mount kit designed to flush mount your Sonos Beam on the wall. A built-in opening on the bottom of the mount makes it easy to run your cables for a neat and tidy installation. For the best sound, make sure the sound bar is positioned directly beneath your TV.

Connect with Sonos

The Beam (Gen 2) is a part of the Sonos wireless multi-room ecosystem, which means you can group it with other Sonos speakers to stream music throughout your home. The Sonos app has an intuitive interface that makes it easy to play whatever you want, wherever you want.

You can play the same song everywhere at once, or different music in each room. You're only ever a couple swipes on your phone away from a house filled with music. Start up the Moana soundtrack in the living room for the kids, and you can still jam to Soundgarden in your office after a long day at work.

Built-in voice control

Both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa are built-in, which lets you play your favorite tunes with just the sound of your voice. You can even use the sound bar's voice control to give commands to other Sonos equipment it's connected to. A far-field microphone with echo cancellation makes sure your instructions come through clearly. You can do more than just play music, too. Both voice assistant platforms can snag recipes while you're cooking, give you weather updates, help you shop online, set alarms, or control other smart devices in your home.

Stream with AirPlay 2

Apple fans are in good hands. AirPlay 2 lets you stream from an iPhone® or iPad® and connect the sound bar to the AirPlay ecosystem. If you're a subscriber to Apple Music®, you can also use Siri to control and play that service with your voice too.

Wirelessly expand your home theater

The Beam (Gen 2) provides a big upgrade to your TV's audio, but it also serves as a foundation for a wireless home theater system. The cool thing about Sonos is that you can add on to your system as you go, expanding as you gain more room or your budget opens up.

You can pick up a Sonos Sub (Gen 3) if you're looking to add low-end impact to your listening. Or even two subs working in concert if you're all about that bass. Add a pair of Sonos One SLs or Era 100s as surround speakers for wraparound effects. And it's all wireless too, so you only need to plug each speaker into AC power.

Match your sound to the room

If you have an iOS® device, you can calibrate the sound bar using Trueplay™. This lets you use your iPhone or iPad to match the bar's sound settings to the specific shape and acoustics of your room. This feature measures how sound reflects off your walls, ceiling, and furniture and optimizes it to fit the space.

Easy setup

It only takes a few minutes to get this sound bar up and running. Plug in a couple cables and press a button to connect the sound bar with your Sonos app. The two cables are an AC power cord and an HDMI cable between your TV and the sound bar. The HDMI connection in the back supports eARC (enhanced Audio Return Channel), which lets you pass an Atmos signal as long as your TV supports it too. If your TV doesn't have an HDMI port, you can use the included HDMI-to-optical adapter. It won't pass Atmos, but it'll still sound way better than your TV.
