The cabinet's multi-layer wood front baffle helps shape and refine the sound, and black synthetic leather accents add an undeniably elegant touch to its visual profile.

Welcome to the D.A.D.™ dome

No, it's not an arena where middle-aged fathers engage in winner-take-all pun battles — it's a very impressive tweeter design. The Damped Apex Dome (D.A.D.) is a hand-coated soft silk diaphragm that was originally designed for Sonus faber's elegant, luxurious Sonetto Series speakers. By damping the very apex of the tweeter's dome, distortion is reduced to a minimum, for pleasing, natural-sounding highs. This top-end tweeter helps define the warm, accurate voice of the Lumina II.

Consider using speaker stands

While the Lumina IIs can be placed just about anywhere, we recommend putting them on a solid pair of speaker stands to position the tweeters at ear height and reduce vibrations that can color the sound.
