The lens features two advanced aspherical (AA) and three extra-low dispersion (ED) lens elements that combine to give you high-resolution images with accurate color rendering and minimal distortion. And its nine-blade circular aperture gives you natural-looking defocused background highlights, drawing all the attention to your subject.

Customizable control

You can turn this lens's aperture ring click stops on or off for tactile, intuitive adjustment while shooting stills or smooth, silent control when shooting video. It also has an iris lock switch that keeps you from accidentally changing the aperture during active shooting.
