A versatile network amplifier with an HDMI connection for your TV

The Technics SU-GX70 features hi-fi amplification circuitry, a host of streaming options, plus a very handy HDMI ARC port that lets you connect your TV. It's perfect for stereo music lovers who also want to get better sound from TV shows, movies, and video games.

Play digital and streaming music sources

A high-quality built-in DAC makes digital sources sound their best. One coaxial and two optical digital inputs let you connect a CD player or similar sources, and a USB Type-B input lets you connect a computer. Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth give you convenient playback from your phone, tablet, or computer. Chromecast built-in and Apple AirPlay 2 let you stream content from a variety of compatible devices and apps or even make the SU-GX70 part of a wireless multi-room setup.

More connection options

Analog music fans have plenty to work with, too. There are two sets of auxiliary RCA inputs, and a dedicated phono stage for connecting a turntable with a moving magnet cartridge. A single set of RCA preamp outputs let you upgrade to a more powerful amp while still using the SU-GX70's amp and DAC. And if you like to listen privately while working, there's a 1/4" headphone jack on the front panel.

Modern design and classic build-quality

From the solid aluminum volume knob to the front-panel display, the sleek industrial design hints at the audiophile elements within the SU-GX70. Sonically, this amplifier takes its inspiration from Technics' high-performance Grand Class components, featuring a symmetrical circuit layout, low-noise FETs, thin-film resistors, film capacitors, and electrolytic capacitors.

Speaker calibration for improved accuracy

Engage the Load Adaptive Phase Calibration (LAPC) feature from the included remote to tailor the amp's output to your specific pair of connected speakers. The amplifier runs a series of test tones then applies correction, similar to room correction in a home theater receiver.
