Wheel it in, party it down

JBL did not choose the name "PartyBox Ultimate" lightly. This brawny Bluetooth speaker can pretty much do it all and do it big. According to JBL, this 1,100-watt RMS speaker can fill "two basketball courts" with sound. Stream from your phone via Bluetooth or connect the speaker to your Wi-Fi network for lots more listening options. The PartyBox Ultimate is splashproof (in case guests get rowdy). And then there are the lights.

The Ultimate's light show

The JBL Ultimate comes with an array of built-in LED lights. There are lights around the drivers and lights for stars and streaks in the cabinet. Lights outline the speaker's contours, and some even shine on the floor.

Music on tap

Stream music wirelessly from your smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth. Or connect to Wi-Fi and play high-quality music streams via Apple AirPlay® 2 or Chromecast built-in. Supported music services include Apple Music®, TIDAL, and Amazon Music Unlimited. (Subscriptions required.) This speaker can even play the spacious-sounding Dolby Atmos music mixes available through these services. Plus, when you stream over Wi-Fi directly, incoming calls don't get broadcasted through the speaker to interrupt the flow of the tunes.

There's also a USB port for plugging in a thumb drive loaded with music files. Two 1/4" inputs let you connect two microphones. Or use one for your guitar. Both inputs have independent volume and gain controls.

Huge JBL sound

The PartyBox Ultimate features two 2-3/4" tweeters, and two 4-1/2" midrange drivers, angled to spread out the sound. Two 9" subwoofers deliver bass you can feel as well as hear. Selectable Bass Boost makes your tunes thump even harder.

JBL PartyPad

Three color-coded touch pads on the speaker's top let you tap, hold, and slide to add your own DJ-style effects. Karaoke EQ tuning lets you choose virtually any song to sing along with.

JBL One app

To take full advantage of the PartyBox Ultimate, download the free JBL One app to your Apple® or Android™ device. The app lets you select preset color patterns and customize the color. And of course, the speaker's lights will pulsate with the music. You can even pair two PartyBox Ultimate speakers together for even bigger stereo sound.

It's a party on wheels

Weighing in at over 87.1 pounds, this is a lot of speaker to haul around. That's okay. This PartyBox has an integrated handle and built-in wheels so you can transport it more easily. And there's a recessed compartment to store the power cable when not in use.
