A center channel for your MartinLogan Motion speaker system

The MartinLogan Motion C10 delivers clear, detailed dialogue, music, and sound effects as part of a Motion home theater system. And it takes up relatively little space in your entertainment center, too. Like the other speakers in the lineup, it features carefully chosen drivers, and intelligently designed crossovers. And this center channel speaker's gently angled, modern-looking cabinet was designed so you can flip it upside down to angle the sound up toward your listening position if placing it on a lower shelf.

Impressive Motion® tweeter

MartinLogan's acclaimed Folded Motion tweeter uses a pleated diaphragm that works similarly to an accordion by "squeezing" air to create sound. The C10's upgraded Gen2 Obsidian version of this tweeter uses larger magnets for greater detail and accuracy. The new design places it inside a custom Folded Motion waveguide that enhances dispersion of high-frequency sound throughout your listening area. 

Because it requires almost 90% less excursion than the typical 1" dome tweeter, response time is drastically reduced along with distortion. The diaphragm's increased surface area also provides wide, yet controlled sound dispersion to create a realistic and highly accurate soundstage. Its response is detailed, but smooth and effortless, without a trace of harshness.

Accurate midrange and impactful bass

The C10 boasts dual 5-1/2" woven fiberglass cone woofers that deliver accurate mid/bass performance. This speaker uses a "2.5-way" design in which one of the woofers covers more of the midrange frequencies for smoother blending with the tweeter. The cabinet's rear-firing port helps deliver impactful low end that enhances movies, TV shows, and gaming.

Unique crossover network

MartinLogan's proprietary Vojtko™ crossovers are named after MartinLogan's chief audio technologist, Joe Vojtko. The latest Motion speakers feature upgraded McCracken-Vojtko crossovers, so named for the influence of the company's other well-known Joe — senior loudspeaker designer Joe McCracken.

No matter what they're called, the aim is always the same: each speaker's drivers are carefully selected or designed to operate within an intentional frequency range and specific performance parameters. That allows the crossover networks — built from high-quality capacitors and resistors — to be clean and uncomplicated, for purer sound.
