Smart design

Component speakers are a great way to improve the overall imaging and soundstage in your vehicle's audio system. Memphis Audio's VIV35CV2 3-1/2" component speaker system incorporates their 50 years of experience in audio engineering to render your sound in lifelike detail.

The woofer's substantial magnet structure and aluminum basket translate into more power handling than most factory speakers.

Designed to perform

Memphis combines a stiff, dual-layer fiber composite cone and a tuned rubber surround in the woofers for clean, punchy, and accurate mid-bass. The silk dome tweeters provide smooth highs without being shrill. The woofer baskets and tweeter housings are made from aluminum to keep them light and strong. You can supply these speakers with up to 50 watts of ample RMS power for added volume and soundstage details.

Memphis includes external crossovers that direct the audio frequencies appropriately to the tweeter and woofer. A 3-step tweeter level switch lets you control the emphasis of your high frequencies depending on the tweeter placement. There are also two choices for the woofer's low-pass crossover, in case you're adding a subwoofer to cover the bass.
