Legendary Sennheiser sound meets real-time workout biometrics

Sennheiser built their reputation by creating some of the best-sounding headphones on the planet. For the Momentum Sport earbuds, they've placed their high-performance 10mm drivers inside a streamlined, sweat-proof design — and added some wearable tech for workouts. There's a built-in heart-rate sensor and body temperature monitor that can send your real-time data to top fitness apps like those from Apple, Garmin, Strava, Peloton, and Polar Flow.

Music plays wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.2, a newer, more reliable version for listening while you move. The earbuds have a slightly open design, so you can stay aware of your surroundings if you're out running in public. Or you can use Sennheiser's adaptive noise-canceling circuitry to cut out noisy distractions in the gym.

How to see (and interpret) your fitness info

The sensors for capturing your heart rate and body temperature are found in the left earbud. Download the Sennheiser Smart Control app to see your live data on your phone — it's free for Apple® and Android®. It also gives you control over sound settings, EQ, and noise cancellation all in one place.

You can also send your biometric data to other fitness apps. According to Sennheiser, the Polar Flow app can take the raw data from the Momentum Sport earbuds, interpret it, and serve up real-time analytics. In turn, you can hear audio from Polar's "Smart Coaching" through the earbuds to guide you through training, activity, and recovery.

Secure, stable fit for running and training

These earbuds slip right into place with a slight twist and are designed to keep stable while you move. Sennheiser includes three sizes of silicone ear tips — plus four sizes of fins — for finding the right fit. That helps for comfort and also ensures the drivers are positioned for proper imaging and strong bass punch.

Charging case banks hours of power

The ultra-light earbuds arrive packed in a compact charging case. It's lightweight, functional hard plastic — small enough to pocket, but durable enough to drop in a bag. You get about 5.5 hours of listening and noise cancellation on a single charge, and the case banks enough power to recharge the earbuds three times while you're on the move.
